“During my fieldwork in Thoo Mweh Khee, I stayed at the house of Sharing Hope, an Australian NGO working with the Karen people for over 15 years. Calvin from Sharing Hope and his wife Deborah formed a health group, bringing us volunteers together. Most evenings, they drove us up the hill to exercise, giving me so many peaceful and beautiful moments. I took this photo during one of my runs.”
