“To make the audience more interested, the students performed the Karen Don dance mixed with modern dance and music. They call it the Modern Don dance. They were the first group to do this in the Karen community. The group name is ‘Mu Hel Htaw’, which means ‘the rising sun’, because they believe that they are young just like the rising sun and can do great things for their people.”
